Karen shares her home with three pets, who have to listen to the songs she makes up about them:  Nessarose, an opinionated Siamese kitty; Beans, the cutest Pug-mix; and, Archie, a Flat-Coated Retriever puppy who has defined the term “free spirit”.

 

When she is not at work, Karen loves cooking and baking, playing guitar (badly) and watching documentaries.  She also dreams of her next visit to New York City or spending time at the lake.

 

Karen joined Kahu Animal Hospital for the opportunity to foster meaningful connections with animals and people.  She loves seeing pets being reunited with their Kahus after a stay in hospital – that happiness is contagious.
