Dr. Vedrana Rakocevic -or Dr. V as she is most often called - was drawn to Kahu when she saw how dedicated all the staff are to providing the best medical care for their patients, with compassion and kindness for their human counterparts.

 

She has been a veterinarian for many years, and has spent time in both family practice and emergency medicine.

 

While she loved the experience and skills she gained working in emergency practice, she missed the connections that can be built in family practice.

 

Outside of work, you may see Vedrana wandering around the city’s parks and islands with her German Shorthaired Pointer, Leia.
