Bex was born and raised in Ottawa, but recently moved to Toronto with their partner. For 8 years they were the proud Kahu of a bonded pair of Mini Rex rabbits (Oliver and Penelope) who lived to be 11 and 8 years old respectively, never leaving each other's sides since the day they first met. They are a large contributor to Bex's adoration for and dedication to animals and animal husbandry.

Bex is a trained vocalist, and worked as a voice teacher and music director for several years. In their spare time, they loves playing video games, singing, and baking.

The move to a career in veterinary admin was made out of a deep love for animals, a love for connecting with people, and a knack for repetitive tasks. Bex is so incredibly excited and joyful to be a part of the team at Kahu, and is looking forward to meeting every animal and peson that steps in our doors.
