Dr. Lee Jane Huffman
Dr. Lee Jane Huffman (“LJ”) is a board-certified veterinary dentist and oral surgeon with over 20 years of experience. She is the first formally academic and private-practice trained boarded veterinary dentist-oral surgeon in Canada, completing her residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has since worked extensively in both general practice and emergency medicine, alongside her specialized work in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery. Throughout her career, she has provided advanced care to patients across Canada and beyond, including Nunavut, Nova Scotia, and the Cayman Islands.
Passionate about education and mentorship, Dr. Huffman offers continuing education for veterinary teams, hands-on training, and virtual dental radiology consultations. She is committed to improving the standard of veterinary dental care and empowering fellow veterinarians through knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
Dr. Huffman is thrilled to be part of the Kahu Animal Hospital team, where she has found a practice that aligns with her values of compassionate, high-quality care.
